1. Refunds for Services (Including Secure Tech Consulting, Data Recovery Services, Secure Data Destruction Services, General IT Support)

Payment for Services: Fees for our professional services are typically determined following an initial consultation and are generally required upfront before a formal Service Agreement is finalized or services commence, as detailed in your specific Service Agreement or invoice.

Refund Requests for Unrendered/Non-Completed Services: If you have pre-paid for services and wish to request a refund because you have decided not to proceed or services have not been completed, you must contact us to make such a request.

All refund requests for services will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Any decision to grant a refund, and the amount of any such refund, will be made in the sole and absolute discretion of American Ironclad LLC.

American Ironclad LLC is under no obligation to grant any refund for services and expressly reserves the right to deny any refund request without providing a reason for such a decision.

If a refund is considered for services partially rendered, any refund amount may be pro-rated or adjusted to account for work already performed, costs incurred, or resources allocated, at our sole discretion.

2. Return and Refund Policy for Products (Encrypted Storage Drives)

Return Request Window: To be considered eligible for a return, repair, or replacement of an Encrypted Storage Drive, you must contact American Ironclad LLC within fourteen (14) days of the date you received the item.

We may provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions if your request is preliminarily considered.

Eligibility and Conditions for Product Returns:

American Ironclad LLC reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to accept or deny any product return request, for any reason or no reason. While we aim to address customer needs, this discretion will be final.

The condition of the returned item is a significant factor. The likelihood of a return being accepted may be increased if the item is unopened, in its original, undamaged packaging, and, for non-defective returns, has not had data extensively written to it.

Products will generally be considered non-returnable if they are damaged by the customer, show signs of misuse or neglect, or, for non-defective returns, if data has been written to the drive extensively.

Return Shipping Costs: The responsibility for payment of return shipping costs for products will be determined by American Ironclad LLC on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion.

Inspection: All returned products are subject to inspection by American Ironclad LLC upon receipt to verify their condition and eligibility for any refund, exchange, or repair.

If a product return is accepted and a refund is approved by American Ironclad LLC, the refund may be issued to your original payment method or as store credit, at our sole discretion.

The time it takes to process a refund will vary and is dependent on processing times after the returned item is received, inspected, and the refund is formally approved by us.

Original shipping costs, if any were charged for your order, are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a confirmed defect covered by the product's Limited Warranty, as determined solely by us.

Restocking Fee: At the sole discretion of American Ironclad LLC, a restocking fee of up to thirty percent (30%) of the original purchase price of the Encrypted Storage Drive may be applied to returned items. This is particularly applicable if the item is opened, not in its original pristine condition, or based on other circumstances as determined by us.

Exchanges: Product exchanges are offered on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of American Ironclad LLC. Please contact us to inquire about the possibility of an exchange.

Data on Returned Drives: You are solely responsible for securely erasing or wiping all data from any Encrypted Storage Drive before returning it. American Ironclad LLC is not responsible or liable for any data left on a returned drive, its security, or its disclosure.
3. Defective Products & Warranty Claims If you believe an Encrypted Storage Drive you purchased is defective, please refer to our Limited Warranty terms (available on our website, with product packaging, or upon request). Warranty claims will be handled in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Limited Warranty.
